Liver transplant for a five –months-old infant Nazar

  On October 29th, 2015 thanks to the joint efforts of the team of volunteers and Ustin Maltsev charity fund fundraising for Nazar Simonenko is completed.
  On day 16th after birth the baby Nazarka was hospitalized and resuscitated with bleeding from the navel to the local clinic. There Kiev experts conducted a Kasai operation (with biliary atresia artificial creation of ducts). During the surgery, the doctors diagnosed "Congenital pathology of growth. Liver biliary atresia". Kasai operation has not helped and cirrhosis of the liver started to develop. Experts from Poland began to save the baby's life. To carry out the treatment in Warsaw cost 287,500 zloty (70,000 euro). The young family was not able to collect the necessary money, the parents were forced to seek help from non-indifferent people.
  Since the beginning of September 2015, there has been done an activity to raise public awareness to the problem of the child and organize a fundraising in Ukraine, Russia and abroad. Together with all people who helped all the necessary sum, which amounts to 287,500 zloty (70,000 euro) has been gathered. The treatment of liver transplant for Nazar will be carried out at the Polish clinic "Child's Health Center" in Warsaw.

The funds will be transferred from the account of the Ustin Maltsev Fund.
