Main Sacred Objects of Christianity come to Kherson

During the period from 12 till 14 of August the main sacred objects of Christianity will stay at St. Kasperovsky Church -The True Cross and Robe of the Lord.The True Cross is that very cross Jesus was executed on. It was found out by St. Czaritsa Elena (the mother of great emperor, Konstantin the Great) while her trip to Jerusalem, the aim of which was to travel and search for Christian shrines. The True cross has special properties. While searching for, three crosses were found, one cross was the True one, other ones were crucifications of robbers. To find out the True Cross, they put the crosses in turn to the dead man of the passing by funeral procession. When touched with the True Cross, the dead came back to live. Since that time the cross is called the True Cross. It is the greatest weapon against the devil and evil spirit.
Robe of the Lord is a piece of Lord's clothes. According to Evangel, a woman,who was suffering 15 years of women's incurable illness, got the healing after touching the Robe.
Christians believe that touching the sacred objects heals mind and body illnesses, helps to grow strong in spirit, heals women's diseases, including infertility.
Sacred objects will come to St.Kaspersky Church on the 12th of August at 8.30 am.
You will be able to touch the True Cross and Robe of the Lord till August ,14.
